“Get a room” is a podcast about sex, relationships, and everything in between. Hosted by a charismatic sexologist, each episode features a real-life couple’s therapy session. The conversations are so nakedly honest, that the clients remain anonymous.

The goal was to develop a compelling brand identity, including the podcast cover, logo, and social media templates, while also defining the brand’s tone of voice and key messaging.

Meaning

The sound waves in the logo symbolize orgasm and escalating pleasure - shown through the increasing space between them - while also capturing the essence of podcasting. This versatile visual metaphor will be amplified and used across the brand’s channels in various ways.

What makes design truly impactful and “delicious” is when the main symbol or metaphor extends far beyond the logo, seamlessly blending into other channels and placements.

In this case, the sound waves from the logo evolve into the brand’s signature stylistic element. They’re used as quotes to highlight key moments from episodes and transform into playful touches in text, such as 'The new epis ) de is out' or 'too g ) ) d to be true'.
